Special Normandy Landings Anniversary package on the Nacre Coast

This year marks the 65th anniversary of the Normandy Landings. The D-Day Festival, which commemorates the events of June 6, 1944, will feature several events, including fireworks and a walking tour and picnic along the Côte de Nacre. For more information, contact the Arromanches, Asnelles, and Bayeux tourist offices.

In keeping with the spirit of these festivities and in the aim of to giving visitors a different take on the D-Day beaches, Gites en Normandie is offering a unique opportunity: a tour of these historic landing sites in a Willys Jeep. Discover the exceptional landscape and views of Omaha Beach and the surrounding landing points in this classic jeep from the 1940s, an icon of World War II.
